name  : Ella's Birthday Intro 2006
date    : 2006
lenght : 1 m 2 s (4.3 MB)
format : avi (Xvid)
Applications :
Maya 8.0
Adobe Premiere 2
Adobe After effects 7.0

Ambient Occlussion intro ! I had 1 day to model and 1 day to composite in After Effects. Due to copyright issues I had to leave out the music. The letters are dancing to the music and other SFX are not so prominent. The Image planes were rendered in a seperate pass and composited ontop. For some reason I got a much sharper image plane with SW rendering than mental ray, even though filtering was off on both.

name  : freakyworld explosion
date    : 2006
lenght : 9s (23MB)
format : mov (quick time)
Applications :
Maya 7.0.1
Adobe Premiere 2
Adobe After effects 6.5
Blastcode 1.2

Here I used the Maya fluid explosion. Render time for this was horrible - 24 hours for ca 200 frames. Then you have to think about that most of these frames did NOT have any fluids in them. With final trace setting, it generated 1 frame per 40 minutes. I put it down on production where I could squeeze in 3-4 frames per hour.

name  : Wedding Intro
date    : 2005
lenght : 30s (11MB)
format : mov (quick time)
Applications :
Adobe After Effects 6.5
Adobe Premiere 1.5
Photoshop CS2

This was just an intro sequence to seamlessly integrate a Wedding video which I had shot. Just a simple TV where the screen has the matte and a few small video clips running in it. Appearance of 3D effects are done in After Effects 6.5.

name  : Lightsaber Deflection 2

lenght : 2s (2MB)
format : mov (quick time)
Applications :
3D Studio Max 7
Adobe After Effects 6.5
Adobe Premiere 1.5
Photoshop CS2

Here is a brave Jedi filmed against a blue screen (which is already keyed out). Explosion was done in 3D Max 7 and composition work in After Effects. Lightsaber was done by rotoscoping in AE 6.5. I did not model the training remote myself.

This was a short flick to test out my new camera at that moment (Panasonic GS400). Aliens are invading, AHHHHH...
